Barselsmad (Food for Maternity Care) is founded by mothers to relieve and care for new mothers and their families postpartum. Your box of Barselsmad contains either three or six (your choice) homemade, nourishing meals that can be eaten for dinner or lunch. The meals are delivered vacuum-packed (in biodegradable bags) and ready to heat and eat. Everything can be eaten with one hand, so you have the other hand free to care for your baby.

Meals from Barselsmad are:

• prepared with organic ingredients

• 80-90% plant-based

• full of carefully selected ingredients that nourish the postpartum body as it recovers. Examples of dishes could be cauliflower curry, chili con carne, and pumpkin soup
  

In addition to the meals, you receive freshly made sourdough rolls, nursing/energy snacks made from all natural ingredients with no added sugar, honey-roasted granola, and our goodie of the week, e.g. rhubarb compote, apple cake or, date balls.

Barselsmad is delivered in the Copenhagen area or can be picked up in Frederiksberg.

We also ship care packages (to all of Denmark) with raw, ceremonial cocoa, herbal tea, nursing/energy snacks and a self-care product, e.g. an organic salve.
